Deep & Light Dialog on Sabbath

Deep & Light Dialogs are conversations in community on a recent reflection from the Deep & Light newsletter. Each live Zoom event offers a conversation with a featured contributor, followed by a guided spiritual practice and time for reflection and sharing.  These quarterly gatherings are an invitation to go a little bit deeper and journey a little bit lighter as we cultivate practice and community. 

August’s Deep & Light Dialog is a conversation with Dr. Shane Ash. For more than twenty years, Shane has offered spiritual care and guidance as both a pastor and chaplain in medical and clinical settings. He is the founder of Restwork, an organization that brings restorative care to healthcare professionals, and is a current facilitator in our Formation Year 2026. 

Shane will guide us in exploring Sabbath as an ethical responsibility of self-care and offer a guided imagination practice.
